History
Cal Coast Acidizing began servicing oil producers in Ventura and Santa Maria, California in 1966. The Orcutt Hill oilfield in Santa Maria was discovered in 1901 and was the first Giant Field (over 100 million barrels in ultimate recovery) to be found in Santa Barbara County, and its development led to the boom town of Orcutt.
In 1986, we expanded the operations to Kern County, California. In 2009, we added the current location near Shafter, California; building from the ground-up an office, shop and yard. In 2011, we finalized the construction of our state of the art mixing and loading facility to support our stimulation services.
We are thrilled to have celebrated 50 years of continuous operation and single ownership in 2016 and look forward to the next 50 years.
